Technical Director

- The firm offers a complete and holistic approach to water management – from testing & analysis, system cleaning & treatment, control equipment design & installation, to remote system monitoring
- The company’s primary offices and R&D facility are located in the Pacific Northwest
Position
- This technical leader serves a key role in the firm’s management team and has a true ‘seat at the table’ on strategic decisions
- Technical leadership, mentoring and project management are “must haves” in this role
- This person leads all product formulation, R&D, testing and customer technical support efforts
- The Technical Director is responsible for maintaining ISO & regulatory compliance and managing the firm’s laboratory staff
- This person interacts extensively with sales, technical service and manufacturing
- Provides training to sales, service and customers both at the firm’s location and customer sites
- Since the firm is very technical-centric, this person will provide technical coaching and mentoring to the entire employee base
- Position is located in the Seattle area
Qualifications
- A four-year degree is required and chemistry, biology or chemical engineering degrees are most preferred
- The ideal candidate will have or be able to quickly obtain a CWT Certification
- Five years of applicable technical management experience is required, preferably in the industrial water treatment industry
- Optimally, the candidate will have deep familiarity with DataCor or a similar ERP system
