Position
- Due to the aforementioned growth of the firm, they are in need of an experienced technical account manager to grow and maintain business in Texas and the surrounding geography
- This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at multinational firms
- This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in the coatings, adhesives, sealant, and elastomer (CASE) industry
- Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
- Manages and owns the overall account relationship to customers and is the “face” of the firm to the customer
- Position is home-office based
Qualifications
- Five or more years of industrial sales experience is required and chemical distribution experience is highly preferred
- A four-year bachelor’s degree is required (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)
- Company greatly values intellectual curiosity
- Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
