Company

Position
- Due to the aforementioned growth of the firm, they are in need of an experienced technical account manager to develop, grow and maintain business in the continental United States
- This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at multinational firms
- This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts
- Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
- Manages and owns the overall account relationship to customers and is the “face” of the firm to the customer
- The successful candidate will be required to work in the firm’s office near Louisville Kentucky three days a week when not on travel
- About 40% overnight travel is required
Qualifications
- Four or more years of specialty chemical sales experience is required
- A four-year bachelor’s degree is required (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)
- Company greatly values intellectual curiosity
