Position

  • This role is responsible for new business development and account management in and around Southern California
  • This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at multinational firms
  • This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in a variety of industrial markets
  • Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
  • Manages and owns the overall account relationship with customers and is the “face” of the firm to the customer
  • This position is home-office based with about 25% overnight travel required

Qualifications

  • Four or more years of liquid chemical B2B sales experience is required
  • Chemical distribution experience is highly preferred
  • A four-year bachelor’s degree is preferred (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)
  • This company greatly values intellectual curiosity
  • Strong interpersonal skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, are required
