Position
- Due to recent growth of the firm, they are in need of a technical sales and service professional in the Great Lakes Region
- This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at the firm’s customers in this geography
- This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of water treatment solutions (equipment, services and chemicals, and wastewater) to industrial customers
- Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
- Manages and owns the overall account relationship to customers and is the “face” of the firm to the customer
- Position is home-office based
Qualifications
- A degree in science or engineering is preferred
- 3-5 years of industrial sales experience is required, wastewater or industrial water treatment experience is preferred
- Since part of this role is business development, a true “hunter” sales mentality is required
- Ability to do some overnight travel
