OPPORTUNITY ALERT for a Water Treatment Chemicals Outside Sales Rep in the Great Lakes Region

Position

  • Due to recent growth of the firm, they are in need of a technical sales and service professional in the Great Lakes Region
  • This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at the firm’s customers in this geography
  • This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of water treatment solutions (equipment, services and chemicals, and wastewater) to industrial customers
  • Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
  • Manages and owns the overall account relationship to customers and is the “face” of the firm to the customer
  • Position is home-office based

Qualifications

  • A degree in science or engineering is preferred
  • 3-5 years of industrial sales experience is required, wastewater or industrial water treatment experience is preferred
  • Since part of this role is business development, a true “hunter” sales mentality is required
  • Ability to do some overnight travel
  • Company values self-motivated individuals who have strong communication and interpersonal skills
