New Business Development Manager

  • Stable privately owned firm that specializes in the blending and distribution of a wide variety of water treatment chemicals
  • This company has been in business for decades and its ownership is committed to growing the company for many years to come
  • The company has family-oriented values and recognizes the importance of work-life balance
  • The company’s main facility and is in the northern part of Atlanta

Position

  • Due to the growth of the firm, they are in need of a new business development professional in greater Atlanta
  • This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at leveraging accounts
  • This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of water treatment chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in a variety of industries
  • Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
  • Manages and owns the overall account relationship to customers and is the “face” of the firm to the customer
  • Although the position is home-office based, initial training and onboarding will be done at the firm’s main office

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of industrial water treatment sales experience is required
  • Experience managing water treatment accounts in the Atlanta area is highly preferred
  • Since the majority of this role is new business development, a true “hunter” sales mentality is required
  • Company values self-motivated individuals who have strong communication and interpersonal skills
