Position
- Due to its recent growth, this firm needs an experienced technical account manager to develop, grow, and maintain business in Texas and surrounding states
- This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at multinational firms
- This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in the coatings, adhesives, sealant, and elastomer (CASE) industry
- Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
- Manages and owns the overall account relationship with customers and is the “face” of the firm to the customer
- The position is home-office based and about 25% overnight (regional) travel is required
Qualifications
- Four or more years of industrial sales experience is required
- Specialty chemical distribution sales experience is highly preferred
- A four-year bachelor’s degree is preferred (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)
