Position

  • Account Manager will call on a broad range of lubricant customers including automotive, diesel, fuel, industrial, metalworking and greases
  • Most of the customer base are ILMA and/or STLE members in TX, LA, OK, KS and CA
  • Account Manager will have lead responsibility for one of the firm’s largest and most leveraging customers
  • Employee owns and sets short and long-term account plans/goals/priorities for key existing and potential customers
  • Primary focus is expanding the firm’s advanced footprint at existing and potential customers with a primary focus on direct lubricant and metalworking end-uses
  • Position is home-office based but up to 50% overnight travel is required

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in engineering, chemistry, technology or business
  • Advanced degree (especially MBA) is preferred
  • Minimum six years chemical sales required, preferably in the industrial lubricant additive or specialty chemical space
  • Experience with STLE, ILMA or NLGI is highly desired
